It was during this time that I realized that I love teaching toddlers their ABCs and numbers, as well as helping them learn how to read. So, even though I am in college at the moment, I would still like to continue doing my part in providing positive development to younger children. I have experience working with kids who have autism or other special needs—I've mostly worked with children ages 2-4, but have plenty of experience with infants as well. In addition, I can drive!

Hello parents! 😁 I’m a proud mother of five children, three ladies and two fellas, ages 20 to 28. In 2022, I became a Grammy to each a girl and a boy and another grandson came along in 2024. Twelve years ago, I earned a Master’s degree in Education and have over seven years of teaching experience in public education at both the high school and middle school levels. In my early years of motherhood, I operated in-home daycares for infants to pre-school aged children. I have taught and assisted many times in church Sunday School classes (nursery to high school) and have led and assisted with Vacation Bible School (nursery to high school). I have also led and assisted with youth groups and activities to include attending week-long summer camps and weekend retreats. I’m a divorcee of a retired serviceman. For those military families reviewing my profile, I’m very familiar with life in the military and the challenges that are presented along the journey. Thank you for your dedication and service! Needless to say, I have a genuine love for children of all ages and enjoy teaching and nurturing them; helping each one grow and learn to be the unique person they are created to be. Activities I take pleasure in are walking, reading, crafting, healthy eating, spending time in the kitchen and listening to music (dancing to the music, as well, even if someone is watching!). These are also some of the things I like to do with children, and of course, encouraging them to find and pursue their own interests and participating along with them. Life is certainly meant to be enjoyed, but there are times the fun might need to wait. You can be assured that your children will be accountable for their personal responsibilities (when applicable) like chores and homework (which I’m more than willing to assist), but who says these things can’t be fun?
