I have a degree in education that i completed back in mexico. I’m 28 years old and I’ve been working with children for 5 years already! I moved from California where i was taking care of 3 kids, they’re 3, 5 and 8. I took them to school and pick them up, prepare food, taking care when they were sick, playing games, get them ready for bed and shower time. I’m active, lovely and careful person. I enjoy spending time with kids and teaching my native language, which is Spanish is one of the activities that usually people ask me to do. I also help with homework and keep the house clean and organized.

About me: I am a VCU student and currently live in The Fan. I am a Richmond Native and strongly embrace what the city and surrounding areas have to offer. Hi! I'm 26 and a senior at VCU. I own a cleaning business and babysit on the side. I was raised in a childcare family -- both my grandmother and mom always had a house full of kids other than my sibling and I. I started babysitting on my own at around 13, and have worked in a wide variety of childcare contexts since then. I've been the lead in the nursery at a daycare, an ABA tech for children with autism, a full time nanny/house manager, and plenty of babysitting. The reason I started cleaning professionally was because of how much I enjoyed it while nannying. My favorite age range is 0-3, but I'm happy to work with all ages. I have experience with children who have more complex needs -- like autism, dietary restrictions, and medicine administration. I'm also able to do additional tasks (cleaning floors, interior oven/fridge cleaning, etc) for an additional fee.

I am one of 7 children, growing up I was around kids all the time, and now I have ten nieces and nephews to love on, so kids have always been a big part of my life. I worked for awhile as the Lead Teacher in the two year old class at a learning center which I loved, but am looking for something a little bit more individualized. I love being outside and teaching others new things. I want to do whatever I can do to make your life easier and keep the environment your kids is in a happy and safe one, including cleaning up after us, helping with learning, and making sure that your rules are followed and your kids are treated with love! I love working with kids. Watching them grow, adapt, and learn is one my many joys in life. Building those strong connections with children and their families is something that I strive for. I've been working with kids professionally for almost a year now, but I've had experience working with kids unpaid before my current job. I am first-aid and CPR trained and currently in school for Early Childhood Education. I'm very good at managing time, making age-appropriate activities, and helping children with independence. I have great communication skills when it comes to updates or anything related to the child. Teaching and helping kids is what I love to do!
