Hi there! My name is Tamar and I'm currently a student at Liberty University for nursing. I have over 7 years of experience and I'm glad to provide references! I have multiple nephews and nieces, several years of babysitting and nannying, teaching experience in my church's children's ministry, and I coordinated a non-profit to increase children's literacy for single moms with young kids. I'm super flexible and I'd love to chat about how I can help you!

First off, I love kids! I have been babysitting for years now, probably since I was 14. I have babysat for countless families at my church, as well as working in the nursery on Sunday mornings. I taught the four year old class during Vacation Bible School at my church. I've gone on service trips and worked with kids in the inner cities, as well. I am currently a freshman at York College of Pennsylvania, and I miss babysitting! I worked almost as a nanny during my senior and junior year of high school. I have watched kids ranging from infants to 12 years old.

As a mom of 4 girls, I know how important it is to make sure that your child or children are in a safe and welcoming environment. I have been providing child care since I was an early adolescent girl starting off as a neighborhood and family babysitter. When I was 16 I started working at a licensed daycare center and throughout my adulthood I’ve worked at other ones as well. Outside of traditional babysitting and working at a daycare center, I also was a nanny my duties included facilitating homeschooling lessons, cooking/meal planning, cleaning, as well as taking the children on field trips to many local community settings. Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in Community and Human Services and am in the process of obtaining a master’s degree from Liberty University, I did however take some time off due to me having a newborn baby. My most recent employment was at a public middle school in my former school as a paraprofessional and my duties were focused on working with students that had IEPs. I have had other experiences working with individuals that had an array of different abilities/limitations at a OPWDD agency. I was also a teacher assistant for a school specifically for students that were diagnosed with autism. Children should be able to feel supported and encouraged to learn in whatever way is best for them. My biggest worry when it comes to my own children is that when they are not with me, is their physical safety of course as well as mental security, that their thoughts and emotions are validated. And I’m mindful of that with it comes to other children as well. Each stage of the childhood phase is precious, from the moment a baby is first born and is desiring to be held and fed to the moment in which they are graduating high school and are going towards adulthood. We as parents who absolutely love our children and want the very best for them know that it’s a “matter of fact” when it comes to who we allow our children to be around. One fact is there is no other decision that we will make in this time of their lives that will be more important than who we trust with them. One vital component is that person needs to be patient and understanding, through my many years of both personal and professional experiences, I’ve learned to be that. Another one is being able to promote a secure and fun environment, and that is what your children will have with me!

Hey!! I am a sophomore in college currently studying to teach Middle/High school math! I have also taken classes on the development and education of kids 0-8 years old! I loved working with kids for as long as I can remember and have babysat since the moment I was old enough! Even before that I helped out with childcare at church and helped out moms when they needed an extra set of hands around the house! I am fun, and energetic but also safe and responsible! I would love the opportunity to care for your kids!

Hi! My name is Rory, and I’m a college student at Liberty University with a very flexible schedule. I have three siblings (ages 5, 14, and 20), so caring for kids has been a big part of my life, especially my youngest sister. Through babysitting her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with diaper changes, reading stories, cooking meals, keeping kids entertained, and maintaining a safe, fun environment. I genuinely love working with kids and enjoy being patient, attentive, and engaged with them, whether that means playing games, helping with routines, or just being someone they feel comfortable around. I’m also very familiar with pets, as I have two dogs of my own, so I’m happy to help in homes with animals. I am CPR certified as well! I would love the opportunity to support your family and care for your children!

Hi! I’m Annemarie! I have paid childcare experience as both a nanny and a teacher, and I’ve cared for children from infancy through high school. I’m very comfortable with infant care, routines, and supporting kids at different developmental stages! I’m calm, dependable, and truly love caring for children! Clear communication with parents is really important to me. As a new mom, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your baby with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously while keeping things warm, safe, and positive! I’m excited to connect with a family and would love to chat to see if we’re a great fit!
