I attended school at the University of Washington where I obtained my Master's in Teaching in 2020. I've been working with kids for 10 years and have babysat for the past 5 years. I've cared for many families, mostly in date night roles, with kids aged 1 and up. In addition to date nights, I've also helped with weekends/overnights, after school, and full-time babysitting in the summer. Working with kids is something I enjoy doing and is the reason I became a teacher and a coach. I like to spend the time interacting and engaging with the kids. Hello families! My name is Donaisha, but I go by Dee. I am originally born and raised in California, and have been a resident here in Washington for about 5 years now. I am a mother to a beautiful, sweet, smart, funny, outgoing and friendly 6 year old daughter (Kenya). I call her my assistant as she sometimes has to accompany me to jobs I pick up here. She is the reason I began my nanny journey back in 2017. During the past 6 years I have done pretty much every setting when it comes to childcare! I am a child care teacher, nanny, and now mom to a 16 year old. I work as a school district ECE teacher Sept-June and am doing some Weekend care for extra money. For a number of years I was a nanny in exchange for rent and did after hours care and evening and weekend routines with children 1 years old to age 10, including helping with chores and school work and getting them ready for bed. I enjoy doing cooking, dramatic play, and art with children and I make sure to get them some exercise and quiet time when with them for long stretches of time.

I believe children should be nutured with love & respect. An educational interaction should be carried out daily like learning numbers & colors. Children are a precious gift. I worked for 11yrs as a para educator for the Renton School District,grades k-12 and loved it very much. I've cared for triplet boys from 6wks until they were 3yrs old and at that time they started preschool. I love to Read and interact our stories with pictures and music. I will always have a journal of your baby’s activities for the day including diaper changes and bottles. I will bathe baby daily if you so choose.

I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of. I took a specific course to become a babysitter and started to babysit my neighbors. I had heard about a course specifically for babysitting, so I took it. After that I was good to go to babysit the whole neighborhood. It worked out perfectly while I attended UC Davis. I graduated with two degrees in Dramatic Art and Design, and two minors in Chicano Studies and Education. I love to teach it and create new things. I am also a Spanish native speaker. I was born in a town near Mexico City. I am very interested in teaching kids what I have learned and also try to have fun with them. Every time I babysit I like to teach the kids something new.
