The last three summers I’ve been a camp counselor in Arizona and loved it! My favorite days at camp were swim days, I used to be a swimmer and the pool was fun for the kids. From this experience, I learned a lot more from my campers than I expected to. For instance, on a trampoline field trip, a bunch of my campers taught me to front flip (I didn’t have much say in the matter but I’m still glad they encouraged me) I am first aid/CPR certified as well and have experience with children who have disabilities. I have a sister with a disability (CDLS) and grew up helping take care of her. In Arizona I received article 9 training and have a finger print card. I currently go to college in California and am working towards being a nurse practitioner.

Hello! My name is Rumana, and I'm an undergraduate pre-medical student at UW Seattle. I am located in Seattle and can conveniently get to anywhere close by, such as Capitol Hill, but also have a car and can travel farther (Bothell, Redmond, etc.) if needed. I love kids and hope to become a pediatrician one day! To me, working with children is incredibly fun and exciting—I love to engage their curiosity and sense of play as a babysitter and help them learn how to be respectful and kind as peers at the same time. I have experience working with kids of all ages, particularly between infants to around 11 years old. When babysitting, I typically help kids read books, play lots of games, as well as do arts and crafts in order to stimulate their imagination and creativity. I am happy to help with homework, light housekeeping, and any other responsibilities you might need me to do. I have 4 years of experience doing paid babysitting, and spent 2 years working for a family with three talkative and active kids aged 1, 3, and 5. I also babysat for many different families independently for an additional 2 years, and am super adaptable to a variety of kids! In terms of availability, I am typically available in the evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends, but I can be flexible if needed. Parenting is hard; the most fulfilling aspect of babysitting to me is helping your family maintain balance within your lives amidst busy schedules, and I sincerely hope to use my experience working with kids in my future career!

Hi, my name is Mavis, I graduated from college a couple of years ago and worked as a graphic designer and artist for a while. I recently went back to school for some professional training. I started babysitting 9 years ago, I’ve been giving care to infants, toddlers and older kids. At the same time, I work with kids in age 3-14 as an art teacher. I get along with kids pretty well, and I enjoy my time with them. I am a patient and caring person. I like animals, especially dogs. In my past caregiving experience, I usually make art with kids, play the piano, go on walks to parks, pickup and provide simple meals, singing, dancing, reading books, etc. I am looking forward to meet your family and offer my help!

I have been a nanny for 22 years. I ran a daycare for 5 years. I am looking to care for two infants full time. 2 kids is the max. Care will be at my house which is baby proofed. I can pass any background check. I have a squeaky clean record. I have references and a long work history. Focusing on 2 babies will allow the freedom for long walks, or Baby Gymboree classes. I love babies. I am a Postpartum Doula and a Newborn care Specialist. I attended NDSU in Fargo, North Dakota. I have completed the DONA approved Postpartum Doula Training at Bastyr University. I have earned my Newborn Care Specialist Certification (NCS). I am professional & trusted. I am current with Tdap 6/2022. If you would like my resume, certs and four written parent reviews email Woodinvillenanny@gmail.com.

Hi everybody! I am a certified math teacher and a boys' basketball coach at a high school in Renton. I attended school at the University of Washington where I obtained my Master's in Teaching in 2020. I've been working with kids for 10 years and have babysat for the past 5 years. I've cared for many families, mostly in date night roles, with kids aged 1 and up. In addition to date nights, I've also helped with weekends/overnights, after school, and full-time babysitting in the summer. Working with kids is something I enjoy doing and is the reason I became a teacher and a coach. I like to spend the time interacting and engaging with the kids. I focus on making sure they have a safe and fun time while in my care. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I'm excited for the opportunity to work with you and your family!

Hi, I’m Cameron! I have a strong background working with children through both professional and personal experiences. I’ve worked in ABA therapy, supporting children with developmental and behavioral needs, which has given me valuable skills in patience, communication, and structure. I’ve also spent years babysitting for families in my church community, building trusted relationships and caring for kids of various ages. I truly enjoy helping families by providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for their children. Whether it’s playtime, homework help, or bedtime routines, I’m dependable, nurturing, and always focused on each child’s individual needs. I work for Lake Washington School District as a behavioral therapist and would love to assist your children in a fun nurturing environment!

Samantha G.

My name is Samantha and I am a mother of two youngsters! I have worked for three years as a parent coordinator in co-op preschool with kids from 1 to 5. Additionally, I have nanny experience, new born night care experience and regular babysitter experience. Childcare is by far the best career choice I could have ever made. My approach to childcare is play based and rich in art, books, baking and any other activity kids enjoy. What makes me different from other babysitters is that I come to the job with a range of thoughtful and helpful ideas. Firstly, I help teach children effective solutions for issues that arise for anything from sharing to communicating their needs. Secondly, I go above and beyond to anticipate how I can help parents. This means that at the end of a babysitting night all the toys and dishes are all put back and clean. Lastly, I hope you'll choose me because I am a parent and that gives me an insight into what raising a child feels like. I bring ideas, empathy, and care into my work. I see childcare as a three fold job: caring for the children, the family as a whole and the house. Parents know their children better than anyone so I always take parent input seriously and appreciate any feedback along the way. Thank you so much!
