I’m currently looking for part or full time positions. Most recently worked with a two year old and his one year old twin brothers. I’ve worked 1:1 with autistic kiddos working on speech, working through behavioral “problems” and have done sitdown table work as well with some kids in my class my first year in the school district preschool (I left that job after Covid hit and they wanted us to go back in person as well as conflict with the teacher I was a para for.) Working with kids is my biggest passion and creating connections and special bonds with them is my biggest joy. I’m very crafty and artistic and love to incorporate that in any way I can when I’m babysitting. Very basic knowledge of ASL (fingerspelling, common signs (milk, drink, eat/food, please, thank you, want, need, help, etc.)). **Fully covid Vaccinated! And boosted!**

I fell in love with being a sitter when my sister started her family. Her girls are now 1 and 3 and a half years old, and I have spent so much time helping her with her girls, both while she's home and while she's away. Kids are so much fun, and it's a privilege to be involved in their lives as they learn how they want to be in this world. Sometimes a family just needs an extra person to entertain or clean up around the house, to give the parent staying at home a break. Other times, a parent or parents are working or need to take care of personal matters outside of the home, and need someone to be the primary caregiver while they are away. Whatever your family needs, I can accommodate so that your child feels consistently supported. I respect that every family has their own style, and I will gladly learn your rules and be the role you envision for your family. I have only assisted with family, so this is new territory for me, and possibly for you, too! I am more than happy to start slow, so that we can all get comfortable with each other.

I have over 17 years of paid babysitting/nanny experience with children ranging from newborn to preteen, most extensively with newborns and toddlers, and have experience caring for up to five children at a time. I enjoy art projects, outdoor activities, reading, sports, and playing make believe =) I can help with homework, meal prep, and light household chores. I also love animals and have plenty of experience with pets. I have a car and a clean driving record so transport to/from school or extracurricular activities is no problem! I’m also CPR and First Aid certified. One thing to be aware of is I do take 3 weeks off every fall to travel internationally, as well as a week in the spring.
