My boys played soccer since they were 3 years old, t-ball, baseball, basketball, track & field and football. I was a really active parent. I was Vice President of the PTA, VP of Membership, Chairperson of Family Fun nights and an Art Docent for their classrooms for two years. I also participated in booster clubs to raise money for the sports. I enjoy walking, bike riding, easy/moderate hiking (nothing too crazy!). Hello! My name is Maya and I currently live in Bellevue. I’m originally from Honolulu, Hawaii but I moved to Washington in 2020 for school, and I graduated from UW in 2024 with my B.S in speech and hearing sciences! I worked at an early childcare center with infants-pre-k children from 2021-2024 and have babysat since 2021. I am currently CPR/First-Aid certified. I currently work as a speech therapist in a pediatric therapy clinic where I provide services to children between the ages of 3-12! I have the amazing opportunity to work very closely and co-treat with occupational therapists and mental health therapists so I have been able to learn some strategies from therm. I previously worked providing speech therapy for a school district where I got to collaborate with resource, life skills, and SEL teachers so I am very familiar with various SpEd departments!
