I am very optimistic, open minded and loving as a person, and creative, responsible and mindfuly attentive as a babysitter/caregiver. With 6+ years of experience as a nanny/caregiver, I've worked with day old infants to children as old as 12 years old. I've studied Early Childhood Education as a means of assuring I provide as appropriate, safe and healthy environment to each child I work with. As I want to be a teacher in my future What experience do you have? I’ve babysat for family and friends (caring for children of different ages.) I’m used to handling things like meals, bedtime routines, playtime, and helping with homework. What skills and training do you have? I’m responsible, patient, and good at communicating with both kids and parents. I can keep kids entertained with activities while also making sure they follow routines. I also understand basic safety and how to handle emergencies. I can cook simple meals and I have a driver’s license.

I'm currently a dental assistant but I have 4 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter. After working in the dental field for over a year I’m ready to go back to what I did before and really loved, being a nanny. I'm CPR + First Aid certified and have extensive experience with children of all ages, particularly babies and toddlers. I'm an elementary education major at WWU starting my student teaching internship next fall. I love caring for and teaching children, and I have experience with a variety of different ages. I've had opportunities caring for younger relatives, volunteering for boys and girls clubs, and mentoring children individually or in small groups. Some activities I especially enjoy doing with children are playing games, doing puzzles, doing crafts, drawing or painting, and playing outside!
