Before becoming a therapist, I was a part-time nanny for a 9-15 month old, and I loved my job! Along with the usual diaper changes, bottles, and naps, we spent the day playing in the kiddie pool during the summer, reading lots of board books, doing assisted walking, working on language acquisition, going to the park, and singing and dancing. My style tends to be child-led: I observe what activities the child gravitates toward and then introduce a new element to help with development.
