My name is Brittany, and I’m a reliable and caring babysitter with over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages from infants and toddlers to school-aged kids. I currently work full-time as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at a middle school, and I love spending my evenings and weekends providing quality childcare for families. My babysitting hours are flexible. I’m available for both routine or occasional care, weekday evenings, and weekends. My babysitting style is fun, engaging, and attentive. I enjoy reading, singing, playing games, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for kids. I’m also experienced with bedtime routines, meal prep, and keeping children on track with their schedules. Whether you need an occasional date-night sitter or regular evening/weekend support, I’m happy to help. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and come with excellent references from families I’ve worked with for years. I have 10 years of babysitter and nanny experience working with kids. I am patient, interact well with children and am also dedicated to the well upbringing and safety of children. Personally I've raised two girls of my own and is currently an empty nester. Now that I'm no longer a full time mom, I'm taking on some part time jobs assisting other busy parents. I'm also comfortable being around pets. My family moved to WA 23 years ago and I turned a full time mom out of choice. During those years I had the joy of caring for my kids and volunteered as a teacher helper when my younger child started elementary school, helping other children in school with reading and art projects. I taught elementary Singapore Mathematics and substituted for challenged students English classes on Saturdays with Northwest Chinese School when my daughters were attending Chinese lessons there for 3-4 years. Also privately tutored some Taiwanese kids and assisted non-fluent English speakers in the library ESL classes over the years. I believe with proper nurturing and providing children with early learning opportunity can enhance positive child development. I highly value quality education. I am good at reading books to kids and enjoy singing children's songs and rhymes with them. I am great at telling time-tested and children-proved stories. I am good at teaching and making art and craft projects. Also able to handle making healthy kids meals and cleaning after kids with ease. Since the past years to date I have been working part time and occasionally for families with kids ranging from 0 months to 12 years old. I have experience with baby and toddler care. I am currently available for date nights and weekends babysitting. Any other details beyond, I'll be glad to divulge during an interview. Thank you for your consideration.

May is a kind, caring, and wonderful baby sitter. She is detail ordinated and kept us apprised of her actions and care throughout the time she watched our 1 year old daughter. My wife was very impressed on her ability to put our daughter at ease. We highly recommend May.

Hi my name is Abby Raschkow and I go to Seattle pacific university and I am studying nursing. I love being a sitter because I love kids and want to be a pediatric nurse so I believe babysitting is great experience for my future career. I have also taken many anatomy/psychology classes so I have learned a lot about kids and their big emotions.

Abigail has been coming to help out at our house with our 6 month and 5 year old. She is very patient and kind with the baby and happy to learn whatever I share about managing my little one. There was a weekend when my little one was younger and fussy. Abigail took her on extended walks to keep her engaged and soothed. She has also won over my 5 year old who loves spending evenings playing with Abigail.

The last three summers I’ve been a camp counselor in Arizona and loved it! My favorite days at camp were swim days, I used to be a swimmer and the pool was fun for the kids. From this experience, I learned a lot more from my campers than I expected to. For instance, on a trampoline field trip, a bunch of my campers taught me to front flip (I didn’t have much say in the matter but I’m still glad they encouraged me) I am first aid/CPR certified as well and have experience with children who have disabilities. I have a sister with a disability (CDLS) and grew up helping take care of her. In Arizona I received article 9 training and have a finger print card. I currently go to college in California and am working towards being a nurse practitioner.

Kate is absolutely amazing with my son! He is excited to see her and reaches for her when she arrives (always on time). She gives him her full attention when she is watching him, and shares with me the highlights of their time together. I highly recommend Kate.

I am currently working in a daycare with children between 1-4 years old. I have also had the opportunity to develop myself in different aspects and areas. I have had the opportunity to work as a teacher's assistant in summer workshops at Weberbauer School. In this organization, I was responsible for supporting perceptual and motor learning in pre-kindergarten children. I was involved in the preparation of exhibitions, dances and plays for the children, as well as in the elaboration of didactic and formative material. Also, I volunteered for some months in the organization TECHO PERU, a nonprofit organization responsible for bringing aid to the neediest people, within my work I was part of the team of volunteers in the schools of remote communities where we support children in their homework, teach them to write, to read and provide children's shows as recreation with games and dances. These experiences gave me enormous gratitude and today, being a professional with vast experience and comprehensive training. I am also certified in first aid and CPR, in case of any emergency, a course which helped me learn more about the care of children and adults.

She has the kindest, calmest demeanor — our 5 month old baby took to her instantly. She blended seamlessly into our routine, showed up right on time, asked the right questions, and kept communication clear and easy throughout. We felt completely at ease leaving our little one in such capable hands, and the baby was happy and content when we returned. A true gem! Highly recommend.

Howdy! 2026 update: I am now accepting new families to expand my list of regulars, as well as provide one-time childcare for visiting families. Feel free to reach out! My childcare career began about 13 years ago as a weekly volunteer and eventually as lead teacher at my church in San Antonio, Texas. It was there I met families that would become my very first clients. As time went by, my business grew fruitfully! I also began substitute teaching at ECC and elementary schools, including in special needs classrooms. - 13 years of childcare experience as a sitter, “manny,” tutor, substitute teacher, and volunteer - Experience caring for all ages, multiples, in-home and on outings - Experience in homes and classrooms of children with special needs - Flexible childcare style to be consistent with your family’s methods - Welcoming and open-minded to all family types and beliefs - Energetic and positive attitude towards learning and play - Safety conscious and always present in the moment - Pet friendly, zero allergies, non-smoker/drugs - CPR and first-aid certified (renewed February 2026) I can provide enhanced background check results from 8/29/23. It is a bit pricey to renew so I've chosen not to. However, I'd gladly submit a new check if a family wishes to purchase one. Same for motor vehicle check (perfect driving record). I’m open to provide transportation for outings using my reliable and spacious SUV. I have an adjustable car seat and booster, or we can use yours. Trips to the park and playgrounds are my favorite! I’m looking forward to chatting with you about your family’s childcare needs. Feel free to send me a message any time!

Thomas is amazing! Super professional and on top of everything. He did wonderfully with our 1 year old (who is quite selective with his caregivers). I particularly love the attention to detail he has to what our little one needs. He really cares about how best to take care of him. He’s very open and transparent with his availabilities and we enjoy working with him for date nights or other things we need coverage.

I hired Julie to take care of my two boys (11 months and 5 years old) for a date night out and my boys loved being with her. She was very playful and attentive with them. She administered good communication skills and followed all the directions that we had for her.

I’m a dependable, patient, and easygoing dad to a 1-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, so I understand firsthand how important trust, safety, and consistency are when it comes to childcare. I’m comfortable helping with day-to-day routines like meals, playtime, homework help, bedtime routines, and keeping things tidy while making sure kids stay engaged and cared for. I’m especially good at staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and adapting to different personalities and family routines. I know every child is different, and I try to create an environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and safe. I’m also comfortable around pets, helping with light household tasks if needed, and handling higher-energy kids with patience and structure. My goal is to be someone families can genuinely rely on and feel good about having around their home.
