Matthew S., Child Care in Tenino, WA 98589 with 10 years of paid experience

I have been an elementary school teacher for the past three years, worked for almost a year at a pre-school, as well as with infants and toddlers for almost 7 years in a church nursery on Sundays. I just graduated from Columbia with my Masters in Social Work. For my undergrad, I graduated from Duke, with a major in History, and a double minor in Education, and Psychology. I have babysat infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary aged children for years. I am responsible for taking care of their physical needs, including changing diapers, playing with them, as well as preparing snacks and meals. I love to get on the floor and play, as I am not a person who just sticks kids in front of the TV. I have helped with play dates, pick-up and drop-off at school, transported kids using the subway and bus, as well as taken kids to the park. I have also worked in an after school and summer camp for a little over 3 years, working with students in K-5. I taught swimming, tennis, and created art and craft activities for the campers. I am a very energetic person, and I am great with kids. I play tennis, and I am an excellent swimmer. I have my CPR and First Aid certification, as well as Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certifications. I enjoy working with children of all ages. I have references available on request.

Arianne W., Child Care in Tenino, WA 98589 with 8 years of paid experience

Hi, I’m Arianne. I was a stay at home mom to my 10 year old daughter for the first 4 years of her life. During that time, I have been a nanny to 4 different families. I was with one family for a year caring for their 2 children, ages 1 and 9. With the second family, I cared for their infant, age 5 months, and stayed with them for 6 months. I left both families on excellent terms and have references. Once my daughter started school, I became a nanny full time. I have also worked with a few other families as well and have experience with children of all ages. I was with my most recent family for 5 years. They have an 6 yr and an 3 yr old. I started with the 6yr old at 18months and I’ve been with the 3 yr old whole life. I left this family in September because both boys are now in school/preschool. I am available immediately and I am looking for a full time nanny position in Olympia or the surrounding areas. I am fully vaccinated and still continue to wear masks in public and sanitize. I do like to let potential families know a couple things before we proceed just not to waste anyone’s time. Just in case values are extremely different. 1. I am have a lot of tattoos and some piercings. But I do not do drugs or smoke and I rarely even drink. I am open to drug testing and full background checks. 2. I am a lesbian. I know that may not be acceptable to all people so I like to let people know beforehand. 3. This is my sole source of income. If you hire me on, I will need guaranteed hours and if for any reason needs change, I will need notice a month in advance. Thanks for taking the time to read this. And if I don’t hear from you, good luck finding an amazing caregiver🙂

Cindy M., Child Care in Tenino, WA 98589 with 20 years of paid experience

Hello and Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. With over 10 years of dedicated childcare experience, I am a passionate and reliable nanny seeking a long-term position with a loving family. My journey in childcare began when I started watching my grandson on weekends while my daughter-in-law worked, and I quickly discovered this was my true calling. What started as helping family has blossomed into a fulfilling career that brings me immense joy every single day. ## Professional Qualifications & Experience I am certified through the Child Care Aware program with the military, demonstrating my commitment to professional standards and quality care. My extensive experience spans working with children of all ages, including infants as young as 3 months old. I understand the unique needs of each developmental stage and adapt my caregiving approach accordingly, whether it's providing gentle care for newborns or engaging older children in educational activities. Safety and trust are paramount in my work. I have completed comprehensive state and federal background checks, as well as a current driving abstract, all of which I'm happy to share with prospective families. These clearances reflect my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability. ## What Sets Me Apart I believe in making life easier for the families I work with, not just caring for their children. My services extend beyond basic childcare to include light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining organized, clean spaces. I understand that parents have enough on their plates, so I take pride in handling these additional responsibilities to help create a smoother household routine. My approach to childcare is nurturing yet structured. I focus on creating engaging, educational experiences while maintaining consistent routines that help children feel secure and thrive. Whether it's reading stories, creative play, outdoor activities, or helping with homework, I tailor activities to each child's interests and developmental needs. ## References & Family-Friendly Approach I have excellent references from previous families who can speak to my reliability, trustworthiness, and genuine care for their children. Many of my relationships with families have lasted years, which speaks to my commitment to building lasting, meaningful connections. I'm completely comfortable with pets and understand they're often

Meshayla B., Child Care in Tenino, WA 98589 with 6 years of paid experience

Welcome to my profile! My name is Meshayla and I have been working with children for as long as I can remember. Growing up I was an only child but I have lots of cousins that are much younger than me. I found my love for taking care of babies all of those years ago. Nothing is better than seeing the smiles and giggles of a little one. One of my cousins was born with down syndrome and had MANY medical issues throughout his life. Even though I was young, I helped to raise him. He had heart surgery as well as an NG feeding tube. I learned so many things to help care for his special needs and make sure he was incredibly loved and healthy. He is a big reason why I fell in love with child care. I gained more experience as I got older as well. My high school had a childcare center for the teen moms in our district. We were given the opportunity to work in the childcare center for elective credit. We had all different ages from 4 weeks old to 4 years old. It truly was the very best part of my day. No matter what was going on in life it all melted away when I saw their happy faces. The director of the child care center saw how much the kids loved me, and how i genuinely loved being there. So much so that she took me under her wing and helped me to become a master soother :) I knew it wasn't going to be a class I took once and never had again. I worked it out with the school so i would take extra classes for two years so that I could keep having the childcare in my class schedule. It was so bitter sweet when I finally graduated and had to say goodbye. I kept in touch with the director many years after. Unfortunately she passed away last year, but she will never be forgotten. I have her to thank for my vast knowledge when it comes to infants and children. After becoming an adult I did many babysitting/ nanny jobs for family friends as well as taking care of my friends babies. I have experience with all ages from freshly newborn babies all the way up to teenagers. The last 6 years i have been working in customer service and I have realized how much I miss being around the little baby toes and big gummy smiles. I have dogs myself and am comfortable with any pets you may have. My only objection would be uncaged spiders lol. I have been certified in CPR and first aid in the past but I'm not sure if they are still valid at this time. I would be willing to renew them if needed. Thanks for viewing my profile, I hope I can be a great fit for your families needs.
