Hi, my name is Heidi. I'm a retired grandmom, who doesn't get the chance to see her grandchildren. Families don't live in the same towns, like they used to. I miss being around children, and having the opportunity to see them light-up when they learn something new. Outside of my early days, as a young girl, babysitting, and being a mom and grandmom, I also worked with, pre-school age children, as well as, autistic adolescents, in the 1990's. I am CNA trained, and went to UW-Stout for, Hospitality Management, so my skills are all over the place. I do think my CPR and First aid certification are expired, but that is easy to remedy, if required, and my training and knowledge are still solid. The last job I worked at, ended in 2020. I managed a produce department and ran a deli for a local, food Coop. At the beginning of the Pandemic, I had the pleasure of caring for my two youngest grandchildren, and kept them in my care, while their parents worked as, essential workers. I am not interested in doing housework, or transporting your precious cargo in my car, but I'd rather enjoy doing, arts and crafts, reading books, helping guide with critical thinking and learning, doing light cooking, and healthy snack preparation, and being a reliable resource for your family, by offering, well rounded childcare that gives you, peace of mind. At this point in my life, I'm only interested in part-time sitting jobs, but I'd love to be of help to your family, if we feel like this could be a good fit. Children require consistency and people they can depend on. I'm a non-smoker, and I'm unwilling to work for families that, smoke in their homes, and I'm not interested in caring for the family pets. My experience and age, give me a different perspective on how to approach life, and I think that can bring great comfort to parents, seeking care for their children.
