I am currently a college student getting a Bachelors Degree in Sociology. I have been told by parents that I am reliable, responsible, and fun! I have had a driver’s license for about a year now, and have all COVID-19 vaccinations. I can clean, do laundry, meal prep, help with homework, and entertain the kids! I have experience through being one of the oldest cousins in my family, so I have always been relied on for watching the kids and babies while the adults go out. Feel free to contact me for any references, thank you!

My name is Elexis. I am 23 years old and i was raised in a single income low class family. I understand how hard is can be to decided to be single income and have "free" childcare, or to have to both work in order to make it. I would love to bring some families relief in that way. I am a certified Indiana State Substitute Teacher. Through this, I have had a full background check, drug screening, as well as CPR certification. I am located in the Castleton area, but am willing to commute.

Hi! I’m Nora, and I’m a freshman at UW Madison! I grew up in Chicago and got my first babysitting job in 8th grade to babysit an infant. Throughout high school, I babysat 3 families on my block with ages ranging from 1-7 years old. One of these children was a little boy with severe autism, and I learned many lessons about patience and how to handle meltdowns. I also am comfortable with infants and young toddlers. I worked at a sleep away camp called Camp Edward’s during the summer of 2023, and I worked with large groups of campers (35 max) ranging from 5-13. This was such a wonderful job, and I loved these kids as if they were my own. This past summer, I babysat two girls on my block (ages 4 and 6), who I’ve been babysitting since the 4 year old was an infant. I worked with them 3 hours a week as well as working as a lifeguard at an athletic club, where I had to actively save children from drowning. I am CPR, AED, and first aid certified. I’ve spent most of my time working with children 6 and under, but I love working with kids of all different ages. I also spent this past summer caring for a 1 year old, and I will continue babysitting her in the future.

Hello, my name is Alexis, a little bit about me I am in my sophomore year of college, I’m majoring in social work and minoring in international relations. I have 6 nephews and nieces that I watch all the time and I have been an aunt since I was 10. I enjoy watching kids play, laugh, learn and grow. I am very outgoing and active person so I love to go outside with kids and do arts in crafts allowing them to express themselves. I am looking for more childcare experience as I already have 5 years of childcare experience babysitting, daycare, after school programs and summer camps, and am looking for a fun job during my school year this year!

Hi families! I’m Sasha, a college student studying to become a Pediatric Nurse (working with kids is my absolute passion!). I’ve been a camp counselor for 4 years and have lots of babysitting experience, so I’m used to everything from messy art projects to bedtime stories. I spend the school year in Milwaukee and my summers in Madison, and I’m usually around on weekends in Madison too. I love getting to know each kid’s unique personality and creating fun, memorable moments with them, whether that’s building blanket forts, having dance parties, or helping with homework. I’d love to bring that same energy and care to your family!

Hey, My name is Tyberius, I'm 20 years old and from Eau Claire WI. I worked at an overnight summer camp, Camp Manitou, for three years. I was in charge with the care of 10-12 kids, ages 6-15, for a week. This included ensuring they were fed, brushing their teeth, sleeping learning, etc. Doing this for most of two summers (my first summer was spent in the kitchen), I came across all kinds of messy situations; severe allergies, homesick/sad campers, bullying, bad listeners, just to name a few. I improved a lot in handling stuff like this, acquiring experience from my coworkers and time on the job. Despite seeing the worst of some kids, as for many this was the longest they had ever spent away from their parents which was a lot for some to handle, I loved the job. I have yet to find something in life more rewarding then helping the next generation grow and have fun. The hardest part of working as a counselor was only having a week to leave a positive impact on my campers. I did my best and helped to give life long memories and lessons, but the opportunity to work with a child or children for an extended period of time is something I am looking forward to. Having a deeper impact on their academics, social skills, and overall growth is important to me. [ Here are a few examples of my experiences if you would like to read more about me ] 1. I had a camper with a severe bee and peanut allergy and either me or my co-counselor had to be near him with an epipen for the whole week. 2. Kids don't get any contact with their parents though out the week and I had a very sweet camper who was homesick during and after drop-off. On the second day we found activities, battle ball specifically, that he really enjoyed and we played that a lot as a cabin for the week. Then at pick-up he was super anxious for his parents to come and they seemed anxious as well to see how his week went. From what they saw at drop-off and pick-up they assumed he had a poor week despite me putting forth a lot of effort to make sure his week went well. Unfortunately, I didn't do the best communicating his experience, which went well for a first time camper, and the parents left thinking their kid had a bad week. They later got in touch with me and I was able to explain to them that he did well, which taught me how important communication with the parents is. 3. I have a 16 year old brother which has given me countless experiences. 4. Finding or cooking food for many picky eaters.
