My name is Elexis. I am 23 years old and i was raised in a single income low class family. I understand how hard is can be to decided to be single income and have "free" childcare, or to have to both work in order to make it. I would love to bring some families relief in that way. I am a certified Indiana State Substitute Teacher. Through this, I have had a full background check, drug screening, as well as CPR certification. I am located in the Castleton area, but am willing to commute.

I am currently a student at UW Madison. My previous experience in childcare includes working as a Tutor and after school mentor for children throughout elementary and middle school, as well as childcare experience from a range of 5-13 years old!

Hi! I’m Nora, and I’m a freshman at UW Madison! I grew up in Chicago and got my first babysitting job in 8th grade to babysit an infant. Throughout high school, I babysat 3 families on my block with ages ranging from 1-7 years old. One of these children was a little boy with severe autism, and I learned many lessons about patience and how to handle meltdowns. I also am comfortable with infants and young toddlers. I worked at a sleep away camp called Camp Edward’s during the summer of 2023, and I worked with large groups of campers (35 max) ranging from 5-13. This was such a wonderful job, and I loved these kids as if they were my own. This past summer, I babysat two girls on my block (ages 4 and 6), who I’ve been babysitting since the 4 year old was an infant. I worked with them 3 hours a week as well as working as a lifeguard at an athletic club, where I had to actively save children from drowning. I am CPR, AED, and first aid certified. I’ve spent most of my time working with children 6 and under, but I love working with kids of all different ages. I also spent this past summer caring for a 1 year old, and I will continue babysitting her in the future.

I began studying childcare and education through vocational school at the age of 14, and have continued my education in early education, elementary education, and special education. I've had experience teaching in a variety of elementary grades, and am an infant, toddler, and preschool certified teacher in Massachusetts with 6 years of paid teaching experience, and two years of unpaid intern teaching experience. I've also volunteered as a high school special educator. I love working with children and being a part of their growth and development. My core values center around supporting others and making the world a kinder and safer place, and I bring those values into all the work I do. I also believe in the importance of keeping youth engaged through active play and learning, and keeping screen time as minimal as possible (though I understand different families have different values and am happy to discuss this further). I love doing crafts, hands-on learning experiences, and playing games with kids to keep them engaged, and I am happy to cater to your child's interests and needs.
