Hi! My passion for childcare started at a young age. Around 10–11 years old, I began babysitting for family members for small amounts of money, which quickly led to caring for children of family friends and friends of friends through word-of-mouth recommendations. What started as occasional babysitting grew into a career that I've truly enjoyed for over 10 years. Since then, I've gained extensive childcare experience working in three childcare centers, followed by placement through a nanny agency before transitioning to freelance nannying on my own. These experiences have allowed me to care for children of all ages while building strong, trusting relationships with families. After taking two years off to focus on spending time with my daughter, I'm excited to be back nannying this year. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing, fun, and engaging environment where children feel supported and encouraged to learn, grow, and be themselves. I recently moved to Hugo after living in South Dakota for many years. While there, I consistently babysat for a family with five children, ranging in age from a newborn to 10 years old, multiple times a week for four years. I’m currently a senior in high school and truly miss spending time caring for kids. I’m available Monday through Friday starting in the early afternoon (about noon), and I’m also free on weekends. While I’m not currently CPR certified, I’m more than willing to complete certification. I have experience with children of all ages, with a special love for babies and toddlers. Hi! My name is Kate. I am 39 years old. I live in Oakdale, MN, and I have 3 boys. Luke, my oldest, just turned 18. Matt is 9, and Logan is 5 years old. Now that all my boys are in school, I have some open time. I was a teacher for 14 years. I taught private kindergarten, first, second, and 3rd grade. I was A stay at home Mom for 6 years. Now I have decided to fo back to school to be a paramedic and am currently enrolled in school. 90% of it is online and at my own pace so I can work around any time I am needed. Being silly and laughing having fun is also very important A dirty kiddo is one who had fun and played hard (don't worry Moms I'm good at cleaning up to! Lol) We have a golden retriever her name is Rosie she is a crisis response animal sometimes when bad situations happens like school shootings, mass shootings, natural disasters, hospital visits and nursing home visits we will get dispatched out and we hop on a plane and go help out and share the love and support of a golden to help people feel better. Our rosie girl just turned 10 so we don't travel far as often anytime unless there was a big need for ALOT of Goldens.
