Sara M.
- 14 years paid experience
- 15 miles
Hi, my name is Sara! I have 14 years of childcare experience with children of all ages, including infants. I thoroughly enjoy children and I’ve been told I’m quite fun! I engage children with empathy and try to create an environment where they can learn and play, while exploring their environment freely with gentle guidance when needed. I always communicate boundaries with respect for where children are developmentally and what their needs are emotionally and physically. It’s important that parents trust that their children are well cared for and that they can focus on their work without worry. I also have lots of experience with nursing and can help support new mothers in that area!

Hello, I'm Erika! With 5 years of experience in childcare, I am deeply passionate about fostering growth, creativity, and learning in young children. My enthusiasm for arts & crafts, baking, and teaching shapes the foundation of my approach. I firmly believe that learning should be enjoyable, which is why I create engaging, interactive activities to help children explore essential skills like shapes, colors, letters, & numbers. Additionally, I have a strong affinity for teaching ASL, particularly at an early age, as I find it to be a wonderful tool for enhancing communication. As an adventurous individual with a love for the outdoors, you can expect that I incorporate outdoor play and exploration into our daily routine, Above all, I am committed to providing compassionate, trustworthy care, especially during the early stages of a child's life. I'd love the opportunity to connect and discuss how I can contribute to your child's development and well-being. Warm regards, Erika

Hello, my name is Emily and I am currently going to UW-Whitewater to earn my masters degree in social work. One day I would like to use this degree to work in a child and family related field. I am enrolled online and currently living in Madison. This being said, my schedule is very flexible and I am willing to work full time helping you with your children. I worked with a family for the past three years, but sadly a shift in their family life has created a need for me to not be there anymore. Although I am a saddened, I am ready for a new adventure! I currently am looking for full time work for the next several years as I complete my degree. I am both cpr and first aid certified! I enjoy coming up with projects, going on adventures, and helping around the house anyway I can!

I began babysitting at 15 , Was a stay at home mom, and when my kids went to school I discovered I missed the sound of kids in the house. I’ve been taking care of kids since fall of 2000. Can’t image doing anything else. Have worked from home and in a daycare setting . I’m willing to welcome your child into my home or am able to come to yours. I am comfortable with any age .

Although I never was a registered babysitter, I have babysat and taken care of three or four children at a time within my family. I was a nanny for my sister Leah and her three children when I was 14 for a whole summer in between academic school years, for example. I did work at a daycare - Little Dumplings Early Learning Center- for the summer and I absolutely enjoyed every second. I worked with ages 6 months-3 years primarily and I love that age because I see so much personality development and growth at those ages. It is an extremely rewarding job knowing I help not only the kids with every day activities, but that I also help the parents. I know life can get very hectic and not working isn’t an option. I think that taking care of children is a great gift to people like me who want to work with children when they get older. It is great practice as I always learn many new things, and again as I said before, it is incredibly rewarding watching and helping little children grow into toddlerhood then preschool age and so on. I am CPR and choking certified.
