School Counselor seeking occasional babysitting positions (weeknights and weekends) I have over 20 years of babysitting experience for children of all ages, from being a nanny for 4 children in New York City (ages 2 to 8), working as the site supervisor of an after school program, completion of my Master's degree in School Counseling which included 600 hours interning with students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, and one full year as a middle/high school counselor. I have my bachelor's degree in English from UW- Madison and master's in Counselor Education from UW-Whitewater. I have been re-certified in adult and child CPR in 2016. I truly love working with children--both teaching them and learning life lessons from them. My nannying experiences in New York and Wisconsin have taught me how to both nurture and challenge children, by being both a caretaker and someone who supports children with their interests and hobbies, and overall, being someone who knows how to have fun with them. I take a very creative approach to working with children; I feel that finding one's personality and letting it shine through in all aspects of life is something that is essential for kids to learn, so I believe that it is a babysitter's job to be able to be flexible, creative, and fun at all times--while keeping reasonable boundaries as well. I love spending time talking with children about what's going on in their lives, and being able to be supportive of their interests.

Hello! My name is Megan, I am 25 years old and love children! I have experience with infants, toddlers, and school aged children, including teens. I have been in school for my Early Childhood Education degree and have gotten my CPR and First Aid certifications. I previously worked as a Teachers Assistant at Cardiff Kids Cottage in Encinitas, CA. I worked with children ages 5 months to 5 years old. I also worked as a Teachers Assistant, while living in Michigan, in a day care called Little Tots Early Childhood Care & Education. I absolutely loved my job and sadly had to leave due to my moving to California. I have been a nanny since February of 2019, working with children 1 month old to 12 years old. Before I began working with children in a Daycare/nanny setting, I worked for 7 years as a Taekwondo instructor. I worked with children ages 3 to 18. I also had to leave this position due to relocating. My favorite part of teaching children is watching as they develop, for example, learning the months of the year or days of the week and being able to recite them themselves. I love arts and crafts, reading, and singing songs. If there are any subjects your child needs help with, I will do my best to help them learn! I am only available on weekends or date nights, after 6 pm!

I have two children whom have grown and no longer need all of my attention and a husband who works 2nd shift. I am a preschool teacher and have been for 20 years. I love teaching, crafts, and playing outside. I do babysit children from my center where I work. I have a teaching degree and hold a valid CPR card. I became a teacher/caregiver because I love teaching, listening, and being patient with children. Children need lots of attention, whether doing homework or just having fun I am easy going but consistent with what I do. With my son off to college and my daughter finishing high school soon, I find myself needing to keep busy in the evenings and on the weekends.

Jade is an Exceptional Caregiver Jade was absolutely fantastic for our family during the month she helped us. She was incredibly reliable, always on time whether picking the boys up walking or by car. Her communication was clear and consistent - and flexible, which made coordinating schedules a breeze. The boys loved her—she was patient, calm, and had a wonderful way of connecting with them. Jade adapted her care to fit seamlessly with our family’s routines and values. She even went the extra mile by helping out around the house while the boys were sleeping. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such capable hands. Jade is truly a gem, and we feel lucky to have had her support!

Elizabeth L., Child Care in Milwaukee, WI 53211 with 14 years of paid experience

Hello! I have been in childcare since I graduated from high school in 2013. While in school for a Bachelors in History from UW Whitewater, I served as a nanny for three different families. After moving back home to attend Cardinal Stritch for an MA in Teaching, I took a position at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County. From 2019 to fall of this past year, I was promoted three times, and ended my employment as a unit director there due to moving to Milwaukee. While there and in school, I became an expert in child development, activity planning, and implementation. I am also CPR and first aid certified. Since leaving the Clubs, I spent a year and a half in the daycare field. As a result of this, I have all my early education licensure. I have been back in private childcare for three years now because I love the personal aspect to it, and it aligns more with my life at the moment. I look forward to the opportunities provided here and forming relationships with all my families and kiddos!

Amazing sitter/nanny. Has watched my kiddos for many years. She is the highlight of my daughters days. From dance parties to "drivethru" games and kitchen play she always keeps my daughters playing and busy. So much fun and imaginative play. She is patient, kind, supportive and loves to go on adventures both through reading and in person. You can't go wrong with using Elizabeth to watch your sweet babies.

Hello! I’m Zoe, a recent UWM graduate looking for babysitter/nanny positions. I have always loved babies and children and babysat very frequently throughout middle/high school. My college schedule made sitting a bit difficult, and now that I have more flexibility I would love nothing more than to find some steady childcare positions! I have experience with a variety of situations. I’m happy to help with whatever you need, be it planning crafts/activities for the kids, cooking dinner, moving laundry, cleaning, etc. I have another job and currently have the most availability during evenings/weekends, though for the right family that schedule could be adjusted! I hope to hear from you soon!
