Experience with ages birth to 12 years. I love doing activities that are not only fun, but also educational. I love animals, and have no problems working in homes that have them. CPR/AED/Choking/SIDS/SBS/ECE/SPED certified. I work with out of town guests for events and weddings. I also provide tutoring services!

I just moved to the Oak Creek area have a passion for working, watching, teaching, and playing with children! I have worked with ages six weeks through 18 years old over the course of my life, and I have tons of experience across the board. I nannied during high school and college, and worked at an early childhood center for a few years, focusing specifically on 6 weeks to 1 months, and later three years to five years. During the 2024 school year, I watched over a family of 3 children (9, 7, and 4). I picked them up from school, took them to the library and parks, and helped them with reading and any homework. If you're interested in a similar weekly set up, I can definitely make that work, too! I am available most week nights beginning 4:30pm, and can definitely be available during the weekends when needed! I travel monthly for 2-3 days for work, but am typically very flexible. I love pets and would be fine taking care of yours, as well!

I have two children whom have grown and no longer need all of my attention and a husband who works 2nd shift. I am a preschool teacher and have been for 20 years. I love teaching, crafts, and playing outside. I do babysit children from my center where I work. I have a teaching degree and hold a valid CPR card. I became a teacher/caregiver because I love teaching, listening, and being patient with children. Children need lots of attention, whether doing homework or just having fun I am easy going but consistent with what I do. With my son off to college and my daughter finishing high school soon, I find myself needing to keep busy in the evenings and on the weekends.

I also have basic knowledge of first aid and try to stay alert and responsible at all times. I know how important communication with parents is, and I always do my best to follow their instructions and keep them informed. Taking care of kids is something I truly enjoy, and I always aim to create a positive and respectful environment where they can feel comfortable and happy.

Hi, my name is Renee Varland.  I am married and have two children, ages 14 and 16 years.  I worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for 20 years.  My husband and I moved to Oak Creek in 1994.  In addition to raising my own children, I babysat for many years as a teenager and have babysat neighbors' and friends' children as an adult.  For the last nine months I been caring for an infant.  This job ended because the grandparents  now care for the child. Also, for one year I have prepared an elementary school child for school on some days in the early morning.  I am CPR certified, I have my own transportation, and I am a non-smoker.  Some of my favorite hobbies are jogging, camping, cooking, and cake decorating.  I am very involved in my own childrens' lives and continue to participate actively in their school activities, sports, music lessons, fund raisers and band.  I am very personable, professsional, like to have fun and try new things.  I'm sure you would enjoy me as a caregiver.
