My name is Aly and I’m looking for to a part time job (1-2 days a week). I’m currently a pediatric nurse but decreasing my hours at the hospital. I am CPR certified and also hold my CNA and RN licenses. I worked as a CNA for 6 years and have just recently became a RN in May 2022. Considering that, I am comfortable with medically complex children and providing care for them. I have babysat my neighbors for 5 years and babysit my little cousin (twin 8-year-olds and 4-year-old) on occasion since they were born as well as nannying in college. I have experience and am comfortable with all ages. Along with experience with a wide range of ages, I also have experience with those with special needs through Best Buddies and volunteering for 3 years with a program at the YMCA for children and adults with special needs. We will play with their toys, games, puzzles, blow bubbles, color and crafts, pretend, talk, read, listen to music, put on talent shows, etc. After I get to know your child, we can possibly bake & make other messy crafts. An in-person meeting is required before I can watch the kids. Doing the meeting at the last minute shows that we have an understanding of the last minute arrangement that would be used when contacting me for care. Then we'd be all set for last minute care.
