My name is Aly and I’m looking for to a part time job (1-2 days a week). I’m currently a pediatric nurse but decreasing my hours at the hospital. I am CPR certified and also hold my CNA and RN licenses. I worked as a CNA for 6 years and have just recently became a RN in May 2022. Considering that, I am comfortable with medically complex children and providing care for them. I have babysat my neighbors for 5 years and babysit my little cousin (twin 8-year-olds and 4-year-old) on occasion since they were born as well as nannying in college. I have experience and am comfortable with all ages. Along with experience with a wide range of ages, I also have experience with those with special needs through Best Buddies and volunteering for 3 years with a program at the YMCA for children and adults with special needs. I can follow directions easily and provide nurturing care and activities for the child(ren). I hope to hear from you soon!

I am 42 yrs old, I grew up with a younger brother and sister so I babysat a lot. I have babysat my whole life for friends, family, through Care.com and was with a Nanny agency. I really enjoy seeing children learn/master something, seeing something through their eyes am NOT a sitter who just sits on the couch. The scariest thing that has ever happened to me happened while I was in charge of a three yr old, she choked!! I was able to do the Heimlich maneuver and she was ok. I believe this shows I'm good under pressure. I have been CPR certified twice in the past and if it's something you'd prefer, I can again. *Honestly I never know what to write in here so if you think I might be a good fit please contact me*

Although I never was a registered babysitter, I have babysat and taken care of three or four children at a time within my family. I was a nanny for my sister Leah and her three children when I was 14 for a whole summer in between academic school years, for example. I did work at a daycare - Little Dumplings Early Learning Center- for the summer and I absolutely enjoyed every second. I worked with ages 6 months-3 years primarily and I love that age because I see so much personality development and growth at those ages. It is an extremely rewarding job knowing I help not only the kids with every day activities, but that I also help the parents. I know life can get very hectic and not working isn’t an option. I think that taking care of children is a great gift to people like me who want to work with children when they get older. It is great practice as I always learn many new things, and again as I said before, it is incredibly rewarding watching and helping little children grow into toddlerhood then preschool age and so on. I am CPR and choking certified.

Please call me Becky. I'm a sitter that is available on call. Can you believe it? Strictly on call. I literally will not schedule anything more than 2 hours in advance. I mean, have you ever heard of a sitter that you can text within 2 hours of when you'd like them to arrive? You're free to run errands, have lunch with a friend, schedule that interview, show that house, meet a client, take that extra shift. Wow! Now that's convenient. Don't be a slave to a schedule. Flexibility makes life run smoothly. I will come to your home and play indoors with your child. We will play with their toys, games, puzzles, blow bubbles, color and crafts, pretend, talk, read, listen to music, put on talent shows, etc. After I get to know your child, we can possibly bake & make other messy crafts. It depends on the child. - Excuse me a moment while I talk to the type A parents out there. Schedule a sitter and if they have to cancel or don't show, contact me. You'll want to have your bases covered, right? - Please take that first step and either send me a message, leave me a voice mail, send a text or send me an email. We should talk through the details. I'll want to be sure you're within my small service radius. The second step will be texting me 2 hrs (or less) before you'd like to get together and meet. An in-person meeting is required before I can watch the kids. Doing the meeting at the last minute shows that we have an understanding of the last minute arrangement that would be used when contacting me for care. Then we'd be all set for last minute care. Any time you needed my help, you would text me no more than 2 hours (but less is always an option) before you wanted me to arrive. Sound good? I'd love to hear from you during the week. Thank you for reading through my profile. By using my help for your random needs and as a backup for your scheduled needs, you are allowing parents that work on call to have consistent care for their children instead of tossing them from one 'between jobs' sitter and another. Thank you for allowing me to offer this service. *Please note that I am listed in the directory of Jefferson County respite providers if you qualify for this service.*

I graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early-Middle Childhood Education. I am thrilled to bring my passion to your family. With three years of experience teaching Kindergarten, I create inclusive safe places for students and teach students how to read, solve-problems and gain confidence. Also, I have taught a summer school class for many years titled “Moving onto Kindergarten.” Children thrive through play, hands-on experiences, and positive role models. As a nanny from 2020-2023, I had the privilege of working with an extraordinary family, watching their children grow from 3 months and 3 years old, to now 6 and 9 years old. They are like family to me, and we spend holidays together. I complete chores, help with school work, and plan activities. Finally, my student teaching experience in 4th, 5th, 4K, and 1st grade. I am particularly skilled in social-emotional learning and behavioral management. I am looking forward to meeting with your family!
