My mother is 85 and has mild but worsening dementia. She can still take care of herself but can no longer cook. She also gets bored and lonely and I think is driving my dad crazy. He could use some help a few days a week, just to give her something to do and to give him a break. I live 20 minutes away and try to go see them a couple times per week but I'm still working so it's not easy to get there as often as I would like. Ideally it would be nice to have someone who could come and visit, maybe take her places or go on walks, etc. Also would be helpful to help prepare meal for them once in a while. I'd prefer to have someone with experience with dementia patients and who is very patient :)
