Patient (my Dad) suffered a pelvic fracture after taking a fall when walking his dog. He has been in hospital for a few days and then rehab facility for 2 weeks. No surgery was necessary but patient will require 6 weeks to heal. Patient returned home to his patio home yesterday and can maneuver around on a walker.
To date, the family has been helping with the needs of my Dad but we all have jobs. He needs help with personal care, like bathing, cooking meals, light cleaning. The ask would be to have someone come in three days a week to help until May 30th which is the date of his doctor's appointment which is hopefully when he is released.
