I'm exploring available services that can help my 87 year old father manage various tasks when I am not available - simple things (like getting his groceries up his stairs to his kitchen safely) to potentially more complicated (installing railings; setting up life alert systems) in a way that he might be willing to allow us to provide help without becoming afraid his autonomy will be compromised. Can you help me figure out what range of services exist, please? Transportation is a service I would like to explore in greater detail - especially why/how it can function as an alternative to uber or lyft. I do not know what kind of rate to put in the survey. $15 one way is a placeholder only.
