My Mom had a stroke almost 3 years ago and it affected her left side. She is in a wheelchair, and I am looking for a caregiver to assist with her daily needs. She can help transport herself (from the bed to the chair and vis-versa) with help. My Dad is elderly, and he does the majority of the care needs for her however he needs assistance during the day with transfers from the bed to wheelchair and to the bathroom and also with daily wash-ups and getting dressed. She feeds herself however there will be times when my dad isn't there and the assistance will be needed. From time-to-time medicine will need to be administered as well as assisting with getting dressed for bed. Finally, she does have some behavioral issues from time to time however they generally pass with patience and understanding given to her. The majority of your time spent will basically spent just being present if she needs anything,
