I am posting this on behalf of my mother who is needing care for my 87 year old father. He had a stroke 2 years ago. He is also hard of hearing. He sleeps a lot during the day and does not require much active care but does need someone that can sit and watch him in case of emergency. He uses a walker but is not always stable. He is incontinent, and wears adult diapers, but will occasionally get up to use the restroom and often needs assistance. This may involve serving him meals as well (prepared food would be left to be heated). There is also a small chihuahua in the house.
