I have been a caregiver/companion for 6 years. I am self employed. One customer (age 95 when i started)I worked Mon-Fri, 6 hours a day for almost 3 years. I maintained his household, cleaning, washing clothes, preparing meals, running errands, transport to appointments, make sure he used his walker, safety. I worked every weekend for an elderly lady for 3 1/2 years, fixed her meals, assist in helping her change her clothes. I worked approximately 2 years for a lady with Alzheimers, went to her memory care facility and interacted with her, made her feel safe, washed her clothes, companion, transport to appointments. Have Helped an elderly gentleman for the past 2 years, has Alzheimers and is in a memory care facility. Assist him, companion and helper, transport to appointments. I am self employed and love my job.
