First of all I am mother to 2 girls well women now, I am grandmother to 5 boys and 1 girl. I am spent the majority of my life doing office work, from file clerk, reception, data entry, bookkeeping and vehicle loan customer service. Following all this I was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 went through chemo and radiation therapy, when I was able to return to work, that proved to be a huge task indeed. I joined an exercise/line dancing group; where the ladies learned I was seeking employment and I was a cancer survivor, one suggested sitting. I misunderstood at first till she clarified that it was with seniors, home help for those house bound or for companionship and so forth. I started getting referrals for jobs, that was when I realized that God let me experience that road of having to deal with a caregiver to show me how rewarding it was to be able to give back to my community what I had received as a cancer patient. I love being a caregiver/companion because the recipient is always gracious and thankful, you can't help but love what you do and that is makes me good at it. Every time you show up they are so happy to see you and welcoming it feels your heart with joy!
