I have the personal experience of my dad having passed away from Parkinson's and Lewy Body disease. We unfortunately, for a short period, had to do some rehab that was disastrous and he ended in ICU in stage 4 kidney failure from not being given water. He was delivered from that by God and talented physicians, and my mother and I made the decision to bring him home for pallative care for the next 9 months as per his wishes, until he passed. I have dealt with the hallucinations, weakness, tantrums, and cognitive deterioration, but would not want it any other way, it was a blessing to spend that time with him. Experience in feeding, med management, changing, bedding, Hoya lift.
