As an LPN with two years of geriatric experience in a long term care setting, I am in search of the right patient to care for in the Shreveport, LA area. I'm well versed in caring for those that require total care, have mental disorders, and those that may require just a little help here-and-there. I have a bubbly personality, and I love to see a positive response with my patients, but I am tough and will also only provide the best of care I can offer. (If something is unsafe for the patient, I will not standby passively.) My heart belongs with the elderly and disabled adults.
About me- I am almost 30, with no kids, and new to Louisiana! (Georgia born. Arkansas raised.) I got a bachelors degree in general studies before I went to nursing school. I am a master of organization. I love to work hard. I love to clean. I have worked as a waitress, pre-school assistant (at a Montessori-an private school), and even as a "big truck" parts and maintenance administrative assistant. I'd call myself well-rounded, a team player, detail oriented and problem solver.
