I have been a caregiver for over 15 years. I love what I do because it gives me joy to assist those that can't help themselves. I have worked in nursing homes, clinics, assisted living facilities as well as peoples homes. There is no better place for me than in the healthcare field. I earned my LTC certificate in 1993 and had to take a break in 2010 because of a surgery but as soon as I could i got back into it. I would encourage anyone to get into the healthcare profession because if you love helping people this is definitely the field to be a part of.
