My experience with seniors ranges from compassionate companionship, helping to stay connected, and active with family and friends, and travel companion if it's become too hard to do solo yet you still desire adventures/visiting loved ones. I've worked with clients going through cancer, recovering from surgeries such as rotator cuff, double knee replacement surgeries and broken femur recovery. I've worked with clients with full instructions from their physical, and occupational therapists in order for them to more consistently work on their therapies in order to obtain the best outcome. I've assisted those who have had strokes and also worked with their therapists, including speech to also obtain the best outcome.
My experience that pertains to working with seniors includes; Continued therapies, working with medical transportation companies if their services are needed, chauffeuring to doctor and therapy appointments, taking notes if desired, ordering medical equipment for the home, pill management including filling pill boxes, medication reminders and refills (including Canadian pharmacies). Hygiene, including showering and nails. Purewick external catheters. Hydraulic Sara Lifts. Cooking, baking and meal prep Make-n-freeze meals. Stocking fridge with healthy ready to grab snacks. General errands such as grocery shopping, mail, DMV, oil changes etc.
