Hello. I'm a retired CASAC 2 having worked approx 20 years in substance abuse and psych. I took care of my mother who was wheelchair bound since the age of 21, she passed away in 2008. I took care of my grandmother who had alzheimer's disease, but still made it to 98! My only sibling was born with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, partial blindness, intermittent explosive disorder, and MS. I am very accustomed and comfortable interacting with folks with all kinds of differences. As a teenager I completed HHA classes and was employed as same until I moved out of the country and pursued further education. I have 2 adult children who are out and about in the world on their own and doing well. I don't mind pets as we've had all kinds of pets when the children were growing up. I'm a good driver and have my CDL. Having worked in behavioral/mental health all these years I was always CPR/AED certified, but I have let it run out.
