Scheduled a phone interview and no text no call nothing!!! Very unreliable!!! Wouldn’t ever hire

Cindy is a wonderful caregiver, and we are happy to have found her.

My kids have loved Cindy they call her Nana and get excited to see her. She is super active with them parks, swimming, movies and much more. I am just lucky now to be able to be home with my kids more but I sure do have Cindy on speed dial for emergencies.

Trust your gut!!! I couldn't decide if I was just nervous to transition to someone new or if the was something just off! Like the other 1 star review I hired Cindy a month ago to start in the new year. I waited for her to finish her obligation with her current family. The morning she was to start with us, she TEXT me a very long detailed message about how she was in the hospital and wouldn't be able to be my nanny. Of course this totally turned our world upside down as I don't have care for my children, so I cannot work. But the worst part of all of this is I called Banner hospital where she said she was. And 2 times they told me there was no record of her there, no Cindy, no Cynthia, no nothing close to any of her names. Trust me I asked many questions to make sure this information was true. There was no record of her in ANY of the 14 locations in the valley! When I contacted her to give her an opportunity to be honest with me, she attacked me by saying she couldn't believe I would doubt her. She still could not tell me why the hospitals have no record of her there at ALL the last week. Im sorry this is so long. I just want any family to beware. As the discredit she gave the last mom who gave her a bad review made me give her the benefit of the doubt. She seems completely perfect! We talked multiple times throughout the month making sure everything was still set the first of the year! Her references added to how awesome she was going to be for our family! I'm totally shocked and just because myself that someone would go to such great lengths to lie and about things that real people suffer with. Who knows maybe she is having health issues but she was surely not in the hospital and without going into too much detail, her story didn't add up! 2 times leaving a family last minute without a nanny..... not a chance you should risk!

Cindy and I agreed on a job in June to begin in August. We spoke multiple times over the summer confirming plans. She was perfect and we mutually seemed excited about a long term babysitting arrangement. Then, she sent me a text message quitting five days prior to beginning the job due to familial discord. She did not offer to fulfill our agreement until a replacement could be found. I'm saddened and disappointed. I could have had the entire summer to find a sitter had I not committed to someone who led me to believe she wanted a long term job. Be cautious when considering Cindy for a consistent care giver.

We had contact with Cindy back in 12/2012 and it was a pleasure to have conversation on the phone with her. Just alone with the conversation we had, she is someone who has great morals and ethics when it comes to children. Due to my husband having to go in for surgery, because of an eye issue, we sadly didn't have the chance to utilize Cindy as a babysitter yet. Her first impression via phone was professional and fun. It has left an imprint in my mind to the point that almost 3 months later, I still recall her and I wish we lived closer to her :)

We met Cindy using Sittercity.com and tried her out. Right away we liked her because of her easy going Grandma skills and good motherly knowledge. She brought crafts for our kids and never complained about how busy our 1 1/2 year old son must have kept her! She really is great! Once you meet her, I'm sure you'll agree:) and by the way she did not ask me to write this review:) I was just happy to do it!

Cindy is a joy to work with from start to finish. She arrives on time and the kids love the time they spend with her! So glad to have found her.
