Elke’s Bio
I recently took an early retirement with PPG Industries where I worked in research and development for 30 years in Adrian Michigan. My past experience with elder care was my ex husbands grandfather. Before going to work, I stopped at their home to change his patches, cleaned him and made sure that he was comfortable, since grandma did not have the strength to move him if as needed. A hospice nurse stopped by during the day to check up on him. After work, I cooked, cleaned and ran errands as needed, also made sure that grandpa was comfortable. He had pancreatic cancer.
This was my only intense experience working with an elderly very ill person for 4 months on a daily basis.
I should add , my husband and I purchased a home in Maricopa, at Rancho Eldorado at the Lakes and living here now. I know CPR...I was on the Adrian Firebrigade for 16 years. I have character references and a clean dl . Please contact me if you are interested...Sincerely Elke Tillman
