I am currently a Nursing college student at Mesa Community College at Red Mountain. I have previous experience caring for elderly with stoma care. Past certifications include both a CNA and EMT.
I have an up to date Fingerprint Clearance Card. I have recent experience as a side walker for hippotherapy sessions. I am currently training for a CASA position for Maricopa County. I have 1.75 years previous employment with the Mesa Public School system where I worked directly with children in grades Kindergarden to 5th Grade.
I have animals at home that I love to care for. This includes a small 7 year old Yorker mix who was a rescue from Pinal County. I also have a 4 year old Boxer/Dane mix who recently participated in dog training classes. Along with a 6 year old albino cockatiel. My 10 year old daughter has a fancy bear hamster that she adores.
I have completed both the Massage Therapy 1000 program and the Yoga Teacher Training at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. I also have completed over 58 hours of parenting and relationship classes through Child Crisis, Family Resource Center, Maricopa County Head Start, and Southwest Human Development.
I volunteer several times a year at my daughter’s school. My favorite position is Lead Art Instructor. As I am one class away from an Associates of Art.
My hobbies include art, funny movies, caring for living things, reading, socializing with friends, and interacting in a positive way with my daughter.
