Hi I’m Zoe! I am 21 years old and currently pursuing my nursing degree with GCU. While I don’t have any paid experience, I did care for my grandmother while she was transitioning through dementia for about 10 years. I spent a lot of time not only visiting and engaging but I did the majority of her daily tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry. We went on walks everyday and I truly think the amount of care given to her allowed her to live for much longer than anticipated by her doctors. She passed this last Christmas Eve but I’m at a place now to help someone else.
