Leann’s Bio
I've had animals my whole life growing up. We used to take in stray dogs and would foster dogs. Ever since then my love for animals has expanded exponentially along with the variety of animals I have owned and cared for.
I've cared for or owned dogs (small, medium, large breeds including wolf hybrids), birds (macaw, doves, pigeons & cockatiels), fish (salt & fresh water), cats, reptiles (tortoises, lizards, & bearded dragons). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals; such as, cows, goats, donkeys, chickens/roosters, ducks, quail, pigs, sheep and horses.
I like to have an idea on how to best appeal to your pet in preparation for our first meeting. First impressions are everything; so, if there are things they absolutely love and anything they absolutely hate. Also, if they're good around other animals or have any special needs.
I also have a 7 year old son who is my world and I absolutely adore caring for him and taking him to all his sports and after school activities. I come from a large family with varying ages and have cared for everyone from newborn to hospice. I have extensive experience with kidney disease, diabetes, and heart disease.
I am pet and human first aid AED certified. I am in the process of becoming a certified caregiver with the state of Arizona to be able to have a diverse care portfolio.
