I love being a caregiver because it allows me to make a meaningful, direct impact on people’s lives every day. Helping clients maintain their dignity, independence, and comfort gives me a strong sense of purpose. I enjoy building relationships with the individuals I care for, understanding their needs, and being someone they can rely on not just for physical support, but also for emotional encouragement and companionship. I have hands-on experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Visiting Angels, where I provide in-home care for elderly and disabled clients. In this role, I assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. I also help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. I monitor patient conditions and report any changes, ensuring proper communication and continuity of care. A big part of my experience also includes offering companionship, which helps reduce loneliness and supports overall emotional well-being.

My skills and training include strong knowledge of patient care techniques such as infection control, fall prevention, safe transfers, and mobility assistance. I am experienced in care documentation and following individualized care plans. I also bring strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, which help me balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining high-quality care. In addition to my caregiving background, my experience in customer service at AutoZone has strengthened my ability to work efficiently, communicate clearly, and adapt in fast-paced environments. I am certified in CNA, OSHA, and First Aid, which further supports my ability to provide safe and reliable care.
