During my course at PAEC I completed 100 hours of clinical. During that time we were taken to Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Martinez. I was assigned to an Alzheimer's patient. I would feed her, dress her, bathe her, brush her teeth/dentures, change her briefs, do her nails, spend some time with her and put her to bed. I also completed 60 hours of theory which was in the classroom. I passed the class with an A. During that course I got comfortable with being around older people and people with many diseases. I'm sure I can handle any patient. I am certified in CPR. I have my Alzheimer's certificate. I have my NA (nursing assistant) certificate). I have my driver's license, clean driving record and my own car. You can drug test me, background check me, I'm as clean as a whistle!
