I enjoy caring for the elderly very much. I never thought that I would come down this path, but I have yet to regret it. I watched how my grandpa lived his last months, where he was surrounded by all the people he loved. This made me reflect on the fact that not everyone is as lucky as my grandpa. I can not stand the idea of someone suffering and alone. I love to form personal connections with all and give all the help I can offer. I m currently a caregiver to an elderly lady with dementia and also for her husband who is showing signs of Alzheimer's. I love being around them and keeping them company. I plan to take a CNA course starting in January 2017 and become certified.
