I have been a full-time mother for the past 18 years. My children are now leaving home and I wish to use my skills back in the workplace.
I have worked as a volunteer companion caregiver for the past three years at the Motion Picture Home in Calabasas, CA. And now work their on weekends.
I enjoy working with seniors, getting them out and encouraging their pursuits. I enjoy talking with them and listening. I read to them and play music for them. I accompany them to meals, and I can prepare meals as well.
I drive and can accompany them to appointments. I can do errand and shopping with or without them.
I have a dog and cat and enjoy animals of most kinds.
