I love animals, I am currently a full time student at Cal State Dominguez hill majoring in biology to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have 5 dogs on my own which currently live with my mother while in away at school. My experience with handling and working with animals would be personal and volunteering. I volunteer at Carson animal shelter where I socialize, clean and help find happy homes for the animals. I also volunteered at at California Animal veterinarian hospital in Carson. There I help assist the doctor and vet technicians with patients; feeding, holding for drawing blood, taking temperature, taking weight, monitoring high risk patients. I see animals as humans and treat them as such. They feel and have needs just like us and caring for them is a number one priority in my life which I seek to do as a veterinarian.
