As a high school student I began my career working as a program worker for L.A.'s Best after school program. It was then when I realized my life's calling for helping others. After a few years, I transitioned to working with toddlers, children and teens with special needs & disabilities as an one-on-one in-home behavior therapist for the Autism Response Team & the Tierra del Sol Foundation. I taught my clients the adaptive skills & independent living skills necessary to build a better life. After some time, I moved onto The Help Group, a non-profit organization that serves children & teens with autism spectrum disorder & other special needs. While working at The Help Group as a behavioral aide, I worked individually with my students to improve their learning, focus, and behavior.

As a lifelong learner, I taught myself American Sign Language as a way to improve communication with my non-verbal clients. I am experienced in applied behavior analysis techniques & crisis intervention.I am currently pursuing an education In SLPA.
