I worked as a caregiver for 4 years in college with developmentally disabled adults, and found so much happiness in caring for this population. It motivated me to pursue my dream of serving overseas. I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi for the past two years, and had the best experience of my life. It gave me a unique perspective of life, and has affected how I live my personal life for others. It has blessed me with a particular appreciation for things, and the blessings we have here in America. I am now currently living at home waiting to pursue my Masters in International Policy and Development. I would love to be able to work and care for people during this transitionary time of my life, and share and teach about what I've learned in this amazing life I've had so far.
