i care for 6 of my own children, 2 that are 6 and under, a 2 teenagers, and 2 adults. I have been a caregiver most of my life. My mother was a quadrapalegic. I cared for her throughout my life. Duties included: House keeping, food handling, cooking, cathering when she needed to be changed, helped her in and out of shower, and spent time shopping and going to bingo with her. I've also cared for my mother in law whom had dementia/alzheimer's
for a little over a year up until her passing. It's a blessing to be able to share time with those who are looking for just some company to talk and do things with. its such a comforting feeling to know you can be a part of making someones day so much easier.
