Hi!
My name is Elizabeth, and for the last three years I have had the privilege of caretaking for my grandmother full time. I quit school and work to dedicate all my time to her, but sadly I lost her this past December. I will have open availability starting 04/01/2023.
I am still new with care companionship, as I only have 3 years experience, but I have no issue learning new skills. Some duties I have been responsible for are; taking blood pressure, preparing special diet meals, lifting, organizing, cleaning, deep cleaning, bathing, caring for pets, watering plants and tending to gardens, answering phone calls, assisting in physical therapy, getting a person into bed, helping one after the restroom, administering medication.
Honestly, I love helping in anyway I can. If I do not feel confident taking on a task, I will always state it, and will never attempt to put you, your loved one, or me in harms way. I have been in plenty of high stress situations, from my experience in both child caretaking and caretaking for my grandmother, and I would say I am fairly fast at reacting and more on the calmer side.
