I have worked for In Home Support Services for 10 years. I had the same client from 1999-2016. For 3 years I worked independently for a family who's daughter was fighting cancer. I am experienced with in home care needs, Dr appointment scheduling as well as transportation, medication monitoring and dispensing. I am experienced with all house keeping needs, shopping, cooking or just to come and keep you company. I was activity coordinator for a Senior Living Community. I organized outings, inside and outside activities. Acompanied individuals to appointments, social gatherings or one on one outings. I have had the pleasure and many years experience working with all ages from infant care to 95 yrs old. What I enjoy most of all about engaging with seniors is not only being there to help make them smile & their life a bit easier but is their knowledge. The knowledge of many is amazing. Blows me away at some of the adventures and life lessons some have endured. I love hearing thier stories and learning from their experiences. Advice is always welcome. I care for everyone the way I would want someone to care for any of my family members. Anyone I have the pleasure of caring for becomes a part of my extended family. I enjoy being part of making someone's day a little more enjoyable. At the end we help each other.
