Have been a Professional Nanny/Sitter 12+ years for children ages Newborns thru 15 yrs. old which involved light household chores, ferrying kids back & forth to sports practices after school as well as Dds & Dr. appointments. I have also prepared hundreds of meals including breakfasts, snacks, sack lunches & hot full dinners. I am certified through Homeland Security's C.E.R.T. program which consists of a 10 week professional Red Cross 2nd Responder training program for disasters and emergencies like tsunamis, floods, forest fires, etc.
More recently during my husband's terminal cancer diagnosis I was his main caregiver back in Fall, 2013 so now that I'm a widow and an empty nester (both our adult kids are now married & live out of State) I have been occasionally helping others with caring for their home bound loved ones. I have a BA Degree in Education as well as 1 year of Graduate Studies in Special Education. I am a lifelong avid reader as well as a fitness enthusiast particularly when it come to aqua exercises for the elderly. I also pride myself on being an intelligent conversationalist capable of discoursing on many different subjects as I have travelled around the Globe several times as well as having visited 47 out of our 50 States.
