Currently I am in school to receive my certificate as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. In 2007 I was a live-in caregiver for a gentleman who was 76 years old. I took care of him for two years until it was time to move on. I loved taking care of him and helping him to get stronger. Sadly enough his family wanted to be the ones to take care of him during his final days . I realized at that point that I wanted to become a nurse and make a difference in people's lives. Unfortunately I wasn't ready to go back to school until this year. I did Medicare billing for the last 10 years and then decided that it was time to pursue my career as a nurse and start helping people. I am currently doing my clinicals at a facility. I am getting the training I need to take care of the elderly. I am in the beginning of my school career towards becoming an RN, however I have a lot to learn and I'm excited to get the experience I need to move on.
