I have een a caregiver and companion at different times during the last 10 years. My first experience w as with a neighbor in her 80's for 2 years until I had to call in hospice for assistance. I played games with her, read her books, took her on errands and to doctor appointments. I volunteered with a gentleman in his 80's for 8 months until he moved to Texas with his family. I took him to doctor appointments, ran errands, assisted him in cleaning his home.
