I have been doing this caregiving job for 4 yrs and have handled various cases of clients with different medical conditions which includes dementia, parkinson's disease, rheumatiod arthritis, those who are recovering from heart by-pass operation and leg surgery and even clients who just need companionship, intelligent conversation, transportation to their medical appointments/errands to the grocery or pharmacy.
The four (4) years of doing this very rewarding job has developed in me the much needed compassion and empathy to reach out to the sick and the elderly clients and in my humblest little way of doing it help restore back their self-esteem. After all, they all deserve to enjoy the rest of their life after working so hard all their active life.
I am a Certified Nurse Assistant and Certified Home Health Aide which I got after going thru the classroom and clinical training at Homestead Schools, Inc. and passing the state board exam in May 2014.
