I've attended 49er R.O.P. Careers With Children in high school where I obtained a position at a preschool for the year, as a teaching assistant. I have a certificate of completion for the program, earned ECE units for college toward becoming a preschool teacher, volunteered for toys for tots and received an award, and also received 2 student of the month awards.
I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant off and on for roughly 10 years, assisting the elderly with activities of daily living and overall focusing on improving their quality of life. I also received a "Residents Choice" employee of the month award while working at Wolf Creek Care Center. Last year I decided to let my CNA license expire in hopes to gain skills and training in other areas of the workforce. I am a single mother of a beautiful, well behaved 6 (almost 7) year old named Lyla. She is in an insanely smart 1st grader and solely resides with me. She attends school Monday through Friday but other than that she is pretty much my copilot so hopefully it won't be an issue if she needs to tag along for any sitting jobs that are in the evenings and/or weekends. We also have an 11 month old chihuahua puppy named Tucker who is a little skiddish but very sweet. So animals are not an issue. Whenever appropriate Tucker loves play dates!
