I am interested in this position because I recently took care of my friend's father and mother. They both died her mother in August and Her father in September. I am not a nurse or have any certifications. I took care of him when they said he had covid. And then I was his assisting hospice care provider. I am familiar with the type of care being required, and have no problems with it. My 16 year old neice has seizures, and cerebral palsy. Both her and my nephew have autism. I am familiar with this also. Being a care companion would give me the opportunity to explore a different type of care and people. People being most important.
